tshirts

I'm silkscreening tshirts as part of my self promo for my portfolio class. I've narrowed it down to these three designs, but I'm not sure which one to go with.

Business card silkscreen

I'm attempting to silkscreen my own business cards. I'm not sure whether I"ll be able to get enough detail in the text for the cards to be usable. We'll see...

Kids These Days update

Here are some photos that a friend took of my final posters at the Kids These Days show. As you can see, I abandoned the colored backgrounds that were in my originals. This was because we decided that everyone's characters should be on a white background to keep them consistent.

A Beautiful Burden CD Package

This is a cd package that I recently made for my portfolio.

A Beautiful Burden is my friends new band. As far as I know, they don't have enough songs yet for an album, so this is kind of a hypothetical package.

Visually, the package is meant to be somewhat of a deconstruction of 30's gangster/murder/film noir movies. The illustrations all depict elements common to these genres such as tommy guns, femme fatale figures, and violin cases.

Each illustration is designed to only use two colors so that the could serve double time as graphics for silkscreened tshirts.

COEX rough

The theme for SCAD's poster show for COEX (Design College Expo) is "Smart Design". Basically we just have to make 11 x 17 posters with our interpretations of what "smart design" is.

This is a rough version of what I have so far.

I'm hoping that the concept makes sense to people.

The idea is that a lightbulb is an obvious/stereotypical depiction of an idea. Therefore, by smashing the lightbulb, the obvious idea is avoided.

Fuel Clothing Designs

Earlier this summer I did some designs for Fuel Clothing. I just found out that a bunch of stuff came out with my graphics.

you can see them by clicking HERE

or by going to www.fuelclothing.com then clicking on "new product"

The "Distressed America" and "Skully Flame" designs were mine.

Some of the colors and placements are a little different from my original designs, but needless to say, I'm pretty excited...
